Three simple steps to enroll your ward

πŸ“ Step 1: Purchase & Documentation

Purchase an admission Form from the school administration. Fill the form, attach a passport picture and a copy of your child’s last report card (if transferring). Parents must also provide a copy of the child’s health insurance.

Note: Preschoolers require a birth certificate.

🎯 Step 2: Entrance Assessment

Students seeking admission in Basic 1 to 9 will be scheduled for an entrance exam. Preschoolers go through a dedicated placement assessment to ensure the best fit for their developmental stage.

✨ Step 3: Finalization & Resources

Upon passing the exams, parents will make full payment of school and admission fees. You will then receive all necessary school resources needed to begin life at First Star Academy.

1. Which curriculum does First Star Academy offer? +
Ghana Education Service (GES) Curriculum.
2. Does my child need to take a test before admitted? +
Yes. Students entering Basic 1 to 3 take English and Math tests. Basic 4 to 6 take English, Math, and Science. Basic 7 to 9 take English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Preschoolers undergo a placement assessment.
3. Is there a canteen at the school? +
Yes, there is a canteen for students and staff. Students can also bring their own food, but parents should notify authorities for health monitoring.
4. What time does school start and close? +
School begins at 7:30am and closes at 3:00pm.
5. Does the school have a bus system? +
Yes, the school operates a bus system for student transport.
6. Does the school have a boarding facility? +
No, we are currently a day school only.
